This concerns regulations that would make it possible to check whether there are as many people at a wedding as the organizer previously reported. Currently, up to 150 people may attend such a celebration. The minister appeals to people to adhere to this permitted number and follow sanitary rules.
Meanwhile, the health ministry’s spokesperson Wojciech Andrusiewicz announced that weddings may be registered by sanitary and epidemiological stations, meaning that a wedding organizer could expect an inspection by the police or sanitary services. Unregistered celebrations could also be inspected.
Changes and guidelines concerning the organization of weddings and other family events are expected to be introduced soon.
