The incident occurred on July 23. The duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a report concerning heavy smoke on Bobrowa Street. The officers:
The patrol sent to the scene located the source of the heavy smoke on the aforementioned street. Municipal police officers carried out an inspection, during which they found waste being burned in the furnace: plastic, scraps of material, colored cardboard and wet wood. During the inspection, melting plastic was found in the furnace.
The offender was identified. They received a fine. A date was also set for another inspection.

We remind you once again that, under the Waste Act, burning waste in building heating installations is prohibited. The ban on burning also applies to plant residues generated in allotment gardens or home gardens.
Proper waste management will help avoid penalties and, most importantly, contribute to improving air quality in our city.
