The Jelenia Góra, Legnica and Wałbrzych WORDs are Lower Silesian WORDs that, at the beginning of September, will be incorporated into the structure of the Provincial Road Traffic Centre in Wrocław.
“The merger of the WORDs will improve their management and stabilize their financial situation. I believe this is a decision that will ensure the safe operation of the examination centres and protect them from crisis situations such as those we faced, for example, in Wałbrzych during the coronavirus pandemic,” the marshal informs Cezary Przybylski.
And he adds:
The planned changes will not affect services for course participants. No dismissals of employees of the Lower Silesian WORDs are planned either, and the number of examination centres in the province will remain unchanged.
The centres will be merged on 1 September this year; at that time, the Wrocław WORD will be renamed the Lower Silesian Road Traffic Centre.
