My name is Joanna Pawłowska. I created the Sensory Therapy Office with children in mind—children who need support at various stages of development and comprehensive therapy. I am a special education teacher and have worked at a special-needs school for 16 years. For the past 4 years, I have run a preschool unit for children with autism. I have a pedagogical education and have also completed postgraduate studies in Early Childhood and Preschool Education. I am currently completing studies in Sensory Integration with Elements of Behavioural Therapy.
During therapy, I draw on the experience I have gained working with children with disabilities, dysfunctions and developmental difficulties, as well as the skills I acquired through courses and training in methods of working with children with special educational needs. This enables me to comprehensively assess a child’s needs and select appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Sensory Experience Room
This is a therapeutic space equipped with specialist equipment designed to stimulate the sensory systems. Water columns, a mirrored house, a heated water bed, fibre-optic curtains and an illuminated ball pit are just some of the elements that create a unique atmosphere. The room is a child-friendly and safe place and, due to its broad educational and therapeutic benefits, is used for various types of therapy.

- PECS functional speech training,
- Smyko-Multisensoryka – group sessions.
Sensory Holidays
From 17 to 26 August, all children are invited to Sensory Holidays in the sensory experience room. Themed activities in small groups: Following the Dinosaurs’ Trail and Searching for the Pirates’ Treasure. Multisensory activities and great fun!
