Announcement dated 15 July 2020
The State County Sanitary Inspector in Bolesławiec informs that testing of the water quality from the public water supply Warta Bolesławiecka – SUW Raciborowice Górne detected an exceedance of the indicator microbiological parameters – the number of coliform bacteria. The water is fit for consumption after boiling. Water must also be boiled before it is used to prepare meals, wash fruit and vegetables eaten raw, brush teeth and wash dishes, or bathe newborns and infants.
Work is under way to restore water quality compliant with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 7 December 2017 on the quality of water intended for human consumption (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 2294).
Attention: Water should be boiled for at least 2 minutes and then left to cool without rapid chilling. Unboiled water may be used for everyday washing, laundering clothes, cleaning work (e.g. washing floors) and flushing toilets.
The recommendation remains in force until another announcement is issued.
