The incident occurred before 8:00 p.m. at the 18th kilometre of the A4 motorway in the direction of Zgorzelec. A car with German registration plates left the road and overturned. The driver was injured. An ambulance took him to a hospital in Zgorzelec.
Initial findings indicate that the driver wanted to leave the motorway, but did so at the last moment and did not make it.
