On Friday, September 25, Bolesławiec police received a report of a car theft involving a vehicle worth PLN 35,000. The incident took place in the Osiecznica municipality. Investigators quickly established that the stolen vehicle had been taken to the Bogatynia municipality. The car was parked in a garage on the grounds of one of the local properties.
After searching the property, officers found another car that had been stolen. The vehicle, worth PLN 25,000, was stolen in mid-September this year in Lubusz Voivodeship.
Police recovered the stolen cars and detained two residents of the Bogatynia municipality, aged 34 and 36. As we have established, the younger of the two has already been temporarily detained for three months.
Both suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
