The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality. Police received a report that, in one of the localities, two drunk children were playing in a yard. When they arrived, they found a completely drunk family in the house. The 40-year-old man had more than 3 per mille of alcohol in his blood, and the 35-year-old woman nearly 3 per mille. The 14-year-old had one per mille, while the 11-year-old had one and a half.
The younger boy was immediately taken to hospital by an ambulance, while the older one was placed in the care of his uncle. Both parents were taken to sober up. Police already know that the children drank alcohol in the yard, without their parents. However, officers must determine where the children got the alcohol in the first place.
