The office accepts found money and items worth more than PLN 100, including bicycles, mobile phones, wallets, cameras, car keys, power tools and more. Documents should be handed over to the appropriate authority, depending on which institution issued them.

If an item has been lost, the incident should also be reported to a Starosty’s Office employee, providing an accurate description of the item and as many details as possible needed for identification. Invoices or receipts confirming the purchase, warranty cards and similar documents are particularly useful.

Employees of the Lost and Found Office also look for the owners of items, provided that the items can be identified.

A list of items is posted on the notice board and in the building at 12 Armii Krajowej Street, tel. 75 612 17 51, as well as in the Public Information Bulletin at www.powiatboleslawiecki.pl.

Please remember that if potentially dangerous items are found, such as weapons, ammunition or explosives, the police must be called immediately and the exact location of the items must be given.

All information and the regulations concerning the operation of the Lost and Found Office are available on the Bolesławiec District website: www.powiatboleslawiecki.pl, while information about found items is available on the Public Information Bulletin website: https://bip.powiatboleslawiecki.pl/cms/14202/biuro_rzeczy_znalezionych.
