As we have already reported, this year the Bolesławiec County Office plans to allocate almost one quarter of its expenditure to schools and nearly two-thirds of its budget to county roads.
How are the investments progressing?
- At the end of April, a contractor was selected to adapt the I LO building to fire-safety and sanitary requirements – project value: approximately PLN 600,000.
- At the beginning of June, the tender for adapting the building of the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych to fire-protection requirements was decided (improving the technical conditions for evacuation and sanitary conditions in the basement rooms) – almost PLN 1.5 million.
- On 19 June, we learned the companies’ bids for the reconstruction of the county road on the Bolesławiec–Bożejowice, Ocice–Gościszów and Gościszów–Mściszów sections; the project budget is more than PLN 2.85 million. (Five bids were submitted, all below the cost estimate, ranging from approximately PLN 1.59 million to more than PLN 2.37 million.)
- On 24 June, bids were opened for the construction of a pavement in Żeliszów. Budget: PLN 1 million. The value of the five submitted bids ranges from just over PLN 745,000 to approximately PLN 1.4 million. In addition, three companies’ bids are below the cost estimate, so the chances of selecting a contractor are high.
- On 26 June, the Bolesławiec County Office announced the selection of a contractor for the reconstruction of the Bolesławiec–Stare Jaroszowice county road; value: almost PLN 1.3 million.
- The opening of bids for the reconstruction of another county road in Wierzbowa is scheduled for 8 July.
What lies ahead?
In addition, a tender is still ahead for a project involving the construction of access roads to the Trzebień Mały and Pstrąże camps, together with two bridges over the Bóbr River and intersections with provincial road 297 (intersections in the Trzebień and Kozłów areas).
We will return to this subject.
