The incident occurred on Friday, June 26, on Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec. Volunteer firefighters from Ocice (Bolesławiec municipality):
At 10:38, we were dispatched to a cracked tree branch that was at risk of breaking off onto the road.
And they added:
Our task was to secure the scene (close the road) and remove the hazard using an aerial ladder.
In addition to the firefighters from Ocice, the operation involved firefighters from the State Fire Service rescue and firefighting unit in Bolesławiec, municipal guards and the road administrator.
