Drivers travelling along Tysiąclecia Street from the direction of Tesco and turning into Spokojna Street can no longer use the separate left-turn lane, as it has been removed. It is still possible to turn into Spokojna, provided drivers follow the road markings.
Why have traffic arrangements changed there? The aim is to improve safety around the pedestrian crossing. Despite additional signs and lighting, collisions with pedestrians continued to occur there. The police requested the change to traffic arrangements in the area of this crossing.
