Photos of Suicide Victims Instead of Tableware at Andrzej Duda’s Residence

Bart Staszewski, an LGBT activist whom we hosted for a live interview, describes his visit to the presidential palace. At the beginning, Bart removed the tableware from the table and placed photos of people who died by suicide because of intolerance and hate speech in front of the president. Photos of Dominik, Kacper and Milo remained on the table throughout the meeting with Andrzej Duda.

This powerful message did not move President Andrzej Duda. He remained indifferent to the suffering of the citizens whose president he is and said that he would not apologize for anything. Below is the activist’s account of the visit.
