This is already the third section of DK18 from Olszyna to Golnice that will be upgraded to motorway standard. It begins before the Iłowa interchange (for traffic coming from Berlin) and ends at the border of Lubuskie (before the Luboszów interchange – the exit to Osiecznica and Świętoszów).
The bids are scheduled to be opened on 21 July, and 25 months have been set aside for completion of the contract from the signing of the agreement (with breaks for the suspension of works in winter).
Moreover, a tender for the final section of DK18 – the one ending at the Golnice road interchange – is to be announced later this year.
