STATEMENT of June 12, 09:00, concerning the situation at the Healthcare Facilities Complex in Nowogrodziec, at 16 Lubańska Street
We hereby inform you that:
As of June 12, 2020, at 09:00, no patient with a confirmed coronavirus infection was staying in the long-term care facilities operated by SPZOZ in Nowogrodziec . In addition, all recovered patients have returned to the facilities from isolation centers. Since the first case of infection was confirmed, a total of 34 patients have recovered, including: 21 people recovered during their stay at our facilities, 11 people during their stay at the Isolation Unit in Oborniki Śląskie, and 2 people during their stay at the dedicated hospital in Bolesławiec.
The number of staff recognized as recovered is 24 people, meaning all employees whose COVID-19 infection was confirmed. None of our employees is in quarantine or isolation.
Since last week, after all hospice patients were declared recovered and all rooms were disinfected, we have begun admitting new patients. From June 16, we will begin admitting new patients to the Nursing and Care Facility.
We sincerely thank everyone who supported us spiritually and materially. Your help enabled us to cope with this difficult situation.
