Two years of experience have shown how many ailments and bodily complaints could be reduced or eliminated, and how much help in relieving stress and tension can be gained by using floating and reflexology sessions.
In addition to the typically health-related benefits, the place where we provide our services has become a peaceful space for relaxation, drinking good tea, exchanging views and engaging in interesting discussions. This allows us to continue doing our work with great satisfaction and commitment, and to continue welcoming everyone who is looking for a way to improve their psychophysical condition that differs from what conventional medicine offers.
As a reminder for regular customers and to inform potential new ones, here are a few more words about the methods we use.
The word floating in English means to float—in this case, to float on the surface of water. Everything takes place in a spacious cabin containing a small amount of water. The water is close to 35 degrees Celsius and contains a huge amount of dissolved magnesium salt called Epsom salt.
Such a high concentration of salt creates considerable density and allows you to lie on the surface, floating freely. The cabin has a soft blue light, and gentle music can be heard for the first 10 minutes. These are the only stimuli reaching you during the entire session, as the greatest relaxation imaginable begins.
The brain switches to waves characteristic of deep relaxation and even meditation. The muscles relax, the production of happiness hormones, or endorphins, increases, and cortisol levels decrease by as much as 30%. A one-hour session replaces four hours of sleep while also helping replenish magnesium deficiencies, as magnesium is excellently absorbed through the skin. Even one session can alleviate back, head and joint pain, as our clients experience very quickly.
Floating is an antidote to migraines, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and neuralgia. Deep relaxation promotes synchronization of the two cerebral hemispheres, which increases creativity and stimulates the imagination. It creates a feeling of harmony and balance. Floating also helps with rehabilitation after fractures and injuries, recovery after strenuous physical exertion, weight loss, the body's self-cleansing, reducing lactic acid levels in the muscles after overtraining, and faster recovery after long airplane flights.
How you spend your time during a floating session is highly individual. Some of our clients focus mainly on reducing their pain, while others treat this method as a way to relax deeply, take a break from stimuli and spend time with themselves. Two years of experience have shown us that the first floating facility in Bolesławiec is greatly needed and effective in improving the health and relaxation of the city's residents. We warmly invite you back after a longer break—and, importantly, with a new, lower-price offer.
The second method that we use with great success in our clinic is reflexology.
Reflexology
We recommend reflexology to anyone who wants to maintain excellent health and learn how to restore harmony to their body. It is an exceptional therapy that holistically supports our body in the process of self-healing, raises energy levels and regulates all bodily functions. It seeks health, not illness.
Reflexology deals with the principles governing reflexes located on the feet, hands and face, corresponding to all the glands, organs and parts of the human body. Each organ has its corresponding place on the foot or hand.
A foot treatment involves carefully working over the surfaces of both feet, millimeter by millimeter. Areas corresponding to parts of the body that are not functioning properly will be painful and swollen. With each subsequent treatment, the tenderness of the reflex points decreases, while the body regains its form and balance, and pain and tension in the body subside. A reflexologist does not diagnose or prescribe medication, but can determine which area is experiencing bodily dysfunction.
Benefits of foot reflexology include eliminating headaches and migraines, helping with sinus pain, alleviating colds, relieving back, joint and spinal pain, supporting the urinary system, regulating the endocrine system, improving circulation and breathing, relieving sore feet, reducing swelling and lymphatic congestion, lowering tension and easing the effects of stress.
Hand Reflexology
The technique and effects of the treatment are the same as in foot reflexology; it involves pressure applied to the entire surface of the hand and arm, up to the elbow. We use this treatment with great success for people who work with their hands every day, including doctors, dentists, beauticians, hairdressers, drivers and people who work at computers. In addition to the health benefits listed above, it can provide remarkable relief and relaxation for the hands. The treatment brings quick relaxation and reduces the effects of stress.
An interesting part of our offering is facial acupressure massage, which is not typical reflexology but a combination of acupressure and Hawaiian massage. The massage involves applying pressure to and relaxing 20 points on important meridians located on the face. It relaxes tense muscles of the face, jaw and mandible. Gentle movements that tighten the facial skin improve its condition and complexion. The treatment quickly relaxes the body and mind and is very popular among clients, who choose it as a complement to foot reflexology. To complement our interesting range of treatments, we offer hot HERBAL COMPRESS massage, which is very popular with our clients. The compresses are cotton pouches filled with herbs and heated in grapeseed oil. Plant extracts dissolved in the hot oil improve blood flow, nourish and firm the skin. As a result, skin treated with the compresses through quick tapping looks younger.
The therapeutic effect is the most important, however, since depending on the type of compress used, it is possible to warm and relax a tense part of the body or cool swelling and lymphatic congestion. This is a typically Indian massage and differs from the similar Thai massage in its technique. It provides a long-lasting feeling of relaxation, peace and well-being. The herbs used, as well as coconut, cinnamon, red pepper, ginger, lemongrass, coffee or chocolate, provide a beautiful fragrance and their valuable properties.
Compress massage can be a standalone treatment at our clinic or a complement to foot reflexology. All treatments performed at our clinic can be done individually or combined. Particularly effective and popular combinations include floating with foot reflexology, foot reflexology with facial acupressure massage, and foot reflexology with compresses. We currently offer an attractive price for floating with foot reflexology.
Gift vouchers for all treatments can be purchased from us, and this idea has worked very well for two years, delighting many satisfied customers from outside our city as well.
We thank all our existing customers for placing their trust in us and using our treatments. At the same time, we encourage new customers to choose our clinic as a place to improve their health and relax. The only place of its kind in Bolesławiec!
