The incident took place on Monday, June 1, at around 1:00 p.m. The uniformed officers from the Volunteer Fire Service in Trzebień (Bolesławiec municipality):
We were dispatched to rescue a doe that had fallen into one of the disused post-Soviet sewage manholes in Trzebień.
Our crew secured the scene, pulled the doe out of the manhole and handed it over to the veterinarian who arrived at the scene.

On this occasion, we would like to point out that you should not touch or pet young animals encountered in the forest, as this may cause their wary mother to reject them.
