The company is implementing the next stage of its plan to restore the region’s full rail timetable. Earlier changes, introduced on May 1 and May 11, enabled the regular operation of 49 trains to be restored.
– When planning the individual stages of restoring services with the regional government, we pay particular attention to finding optimal solutions that combine the scope of restrictions being lifted or remaining in force with passengers’ expectations – said Damian Stawikowski, president of Koleje Dolnośląskie. – This model is working, and as a result we have already completed two stages of restoring services; today we can announce the launch of the third stage.
In April, when the largest number of services in the region were suspended, Koleje Dolnośląskie trains operated at only 45% of their standard service level. After the third batch of services is restored on June 1, the company will reach 70%.
More regional services
At the beginning of June, 52 Koleje Dolnośląskie trains will return to Lower Silesian routes. Most of the restored services concern trains running daily. The changes will also include services to the popular tourist destinations of Kudowa-Zdrój and Szklarska Poręba.
The restored services will include routes connecting the capital of Lower Silesia with Trzebnica, Wałbrzych, Jelenia Góra, Bielawa, Zgorzelec, Międzylesie, Krotoszyn and Jelcz-Laskowice. Trains will also return to routes from Legnica to Kamieniec Ząbkowicki and Kudowa-Zdrój, as well as from Wałbrzych to Kudowa-Zdrój.
Selected services to Lubań Śląski, Głogów, Jelenia Góra and Międzylesie will also be extended. The changes will also include services to and from Tuplice, which will be extended from Legnica to Wrocław Główny.

Train no. 69532, currently running on the Lubań Śl. 13:47 – Bolesławiec 14:39 – Wrocław Gł. 16:12 route, will return to its original route, namely Zgorzelec 14:00 – Wrocław Gł. 16:12. It will run daily.
