The search for 3.5-year-old Kacper, who disappeared at the end of April in Nowogrodziec, has now entered its tenth day. On Wednesday, May 6, a ground-penetrating radar for examining near-surface soil layers arrived at the scene. The device is used in criminal investigations (for example, when police search for buried bodies). It was brought from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice.
Using the ground-penetrating radar, officers are mainly examining the area along the shoreline. The first scan was carried out to a depth of nearly 7 meters.
