Karkonosze National Park is open as of today, but some trails are closed.

What is closed?

  • Due to restrictions on crossing the border, the Friendship Road—the red ridge trail from Mokra Przełęcz to Przełęcz Okraj, including Śnieżka—is closed.
  • Due to epidemic restrictions, Kamieńczyk Waterfall is closed, as are shelters and recreation areas.
  • Due to avalanche danger, the following are closed:
    • the red trail through Kocioł Łomniczki (Kocioł pod Śnieżką)
    • the yellow trail from the Pod Łabskim Szczytem mountain hut toward Śnieżne Kotły
    • the green trail from the Pod Łabskim Szczytem mountain hut
    • the blue trail to Śnieżka (Jubilee Road)
    • the yellow trail through Biały Jar
    • the green trail from the upper station of the lift to Szrenica to the junction with the red trail near the Trzy Świnki rocks
    • the blue trail from Domek Myśliwski to Samotnia mountain hut
  • For nature conservation reasons, to protect black grouse and peregrine falcons, the following are closed:
    • the blue trail from Domek Myśliwski to Samotnia mountain hut
    • the green trail known as the Ścieżka Nad Reglami, from the mountain hut below Łabski Szczyt to Rozdroże pod Wlk. Szyszakiem
    • the yellow trail from the mountain hut below Łabski Szczyt toward Śnieżne Kotły
    • the blue trail from Skalny Stół to Przełęcz Okraj
    • the green trail from Polana Bronka Czecha to the red trail near Słonecznik.
