They Took a Mortar Round from the Forest and Left It Outside a House. “No Comment”

The incident occurred on Sunday, April 19. The bomb-disposal specialists from Bomb Disposal Patrol No. 23 of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec:

A mortar round, probably brought by young people from the forest, was left outside a residential building.

We will leave this without comment; our task is to safely remove the threat.

The soldiers add:

Unfortunately, the condition of the mortar round did not allow it to be transported to a training ground for destruction, so, using specialist safety techniques, we detonated it near the place where it was found.
