The incident occurred on Saturday, April 18, before 8:00 p.m., in Mierzwin (Bolesławiec municipality). Volunteer firefighters from Ocice:
At 7:52 p.m., they were dispatched to a grass fire in Mierzwin. The fire was caused by a short circuit in a transformer, which ignited the dry grass around it.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Ocice, as well as an emergency power crew, took part in the operation.
