A 32-year-old resident of Lubin County was brought to the infectious diseases ward at the psychiatric hospital in Bolesławiec. The man was not infected with coronavirus; he was taken to the facility because he had been placed under quarantine after returning from abroad.

On Thursday, April 16, at around 2:00 p.m., the man escaped from the provincial hospital. As it turned out, the escapee managed to return home, to Lubin County. There, he started an argument. He attacked his father-in-law. (Fortunately, the man did not suffer serious injuries.) He then damaged the entrance door.

The 32-year-old was detained. As he is under quarantine, he was taken to a police detention facility in Wrocław.

The man will now face the court for his actions.
