According to the new regulations, from Thursday, April 16, until further notice, it will be necessary to cover your face after leaving home, in public places, in shops or service establishments, at marketplaces (stalls), as well as in workplaces and, among other places, in offices, courts, cultural institutions, churches, schools, banks, restaurants and canteens, at post offices, railway stations, etc.
In multi-family buildings, residents must also wear masks in stairwells and other parts of the common property.
Is it necessary to wear a mask specifically?
No. The mouth and nose can be covered with a scarf, shawl or piece of fabric.
Who is exempt from covering their mouth and nose?
- children under 4
- people who cannot cover their mouth or nose because of their health condition, pervasive developmental disorders, moderate or profound intellectual disability, or dependence on others.
What about working people?
Rp.pl:
People performing professional, official or gainful activities in buildings, establishments, facilities, institutions and marketplaces (stalls) also do not have to cover their nose and mouth, except for people providing direct service to visitors or customers.
Who is not subject to the obligation to cover their face?
- clergy during religious ceremonies
- drivers of public transport vehicles
- soldiers while performing official duties.
Do you have to wear a mask in a car?
No, if it is occupied by only one person or an adult with a child under 4, or if it is occupied by people who live together or share a household.
