The TVN Foundation raised over PLN 3.8 million to fight coronavirus during the “concert for heroes.” Part of this money, exactly PLN 100,000, will go to our county hospital.
“We have just signed the grant agreement. We will use the funds to fight coronavirus, primarily to purchase personal protective equipment and medical equipment,” Kamil Barczyk, director of ZOZ Bolesławiec, told istotne.pl.
“The virus is contagious, but so is helping,” Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska, president of the TVN “You Are Not Alone” Foundation, said during the concert. The foundation supports efforts to fight coronavirus in Poland, consulting the Ministry of Health each time regarding its assistance.
