An employee of one of the Bolesławiec shops called our editorial office with a request to share an appeal to customers to be considerate toward shop employees.
“Customers have various complaints against us. Some object to the fact that they cannot enter the shop without disinfecting their hands or wearing disposable gloves. Some younger customers are angry that only people aged 65 and over are admitted between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. We take the abuse and are called the worst names. I do not understand why, because we shop workers do not create these restrictions. We only comply with them. Unfortunately, young people do not understand this. There is a lot of profanity and unpleasant behavior. I did not expect people to be so unkind to us. We are also trying; things are difficult for us too. Hence the request to customers of all shops: please be kind to us.”
