On March 23, the investor signed a contract with the Warsaw-based company Lindner Polska, which will carry out the renovation of the Bolesławiec PKP railway station. The project completion time is 65 weeks, so if everything goes according to plan, the investment will be ready in June 2021.
What will be done?
- comprehensive reconstruction, including reinforcement of the ceilings, renovation and restoration of the façade
- replacement of the window joinery with wooden windows, as well as replacement of the roof
- completion and restoration of the granite plinth
- new entrance stairs, which will be clad in granite
- reconstruction of the building’s interior (passenger services will be retained in the central section
- with a hall, waiting room, ticket office and toilet; the existing green ceramic cladding will remain in place, and a new granite floor will be installed)
