The star of Saturday evening was the widely known band Wilki. The concert began late (the group took the stage after 10 p.m.). However, the Bolesławiec audience could not have felt disappointed. The band performed its greatest hits, including “Bohema,” “Love Story,” “Urke,” “Słońce pokonał cień” and “Here I Am.” There were also songs from Wilki’s first two albums. Everyone gathered at Popiełuszki Square heard, among others, “Eli lama sabachtani,” “Cień w dolinie mgieł” (in a rock arrangement) and “Son Of The Blue Sky,” which the group performed as an encore.
Wilki also performed songs from Robert Gawliński’s solo albums: “O sobie samym” and “Nie stało się nic”.
One of the concert’s highlights was “Baśka,” which the Bolesławiec audience loudly demanded. A choir of hundreds of voices sang the song together with Gawliński.
On Sunday, the people of Bolesławiec will enjoy concerts by Orkiestra Świętego Mikołaja and Fanfara Kalashnikov. The evening’s star will be the reggae group Indios Bravos.
