The exit and entrance to the A-18 motorway near Różyniec and Krzyżowa are closed. GDDKiA justifies the decision to close the exit on safety grounds and due to applicable legal regulations. The closed exit did not meet the technical requirements. There were no additional lanes on the motorway for exiting and merging into traffic. The interchanges at Golnice and Krzywa meet these requirements.
The closure of the exit and entrance to the A-18 motorway means that residents of Gromadka Municipality who wish to travel on the motorway will have to use the exits and entrances at Golnice or Krzywa. Drivers will have to cover an additional several kilometres. The closed motorway connection also means communication difficulties for companies located in the Legnica Special Economic Zone in Krzywa.
