For now, public consultations and work on the project under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism are under way. The project is worth PLN 17 million. Such funding would make it possible to modernize the neglected Pückler palace at ul. Zgorzelecka and change its function; it was once the headquarters of a special-needs school. A modern Museum of Ceramics would be established there.

A spokesperson for the City Office says that selling the Museum of Ceramics buildings is a very distant prospect.

“If our museum staff secured funding for the project, the work itself would continue until 2023,” says Agnieszka Gergont. “For now, we are only considering the possibility of selling the Museum of Ceramics buildings.”

If that happened, a tender would be announced. There has not even been a valuation yet, but if anyone has an idea for buying these renovated buildings, they can start saving money now. How much do you think they would sell for?
