Firefighters’ Festival Held in Osiecznica | Youth Fire Brigade Event

A demonstration of firefighting skills, a football match, performances by Dawid Rajfur, Maślaki and Rafineria—these were just some of the attractions awaiting residents of our county at a festival organized by the Volunteer Fire Service and the Youth Fire Brigade in Osiecznica.

On July 25 and 26, a festival organized by the local Volunteer Fire Service and Youth Fire Brigade was held in Osiecznica. The following groups performed on stage: Maślaki (that is, Mariusz Skrok and Mateusz Flis) and Rafineria. The evening’s star was Dawid Rajfur, a singer from Kraśnik Dolny and a participant in the Mam Talent! program. Due to bad weather, the organizers had to cancel some of the attractions planned for Saturday.

A staged rescue operation performed by the Youth Fire Brigade in Osiecznica attracted considerable interest. There was also no shortage of sporting excitement. A football match between the Youth Fire Brigade and Adults was played during the festival. The young firefighters won.

The event ended with a disco. Residents of our county had fun until late at night.

The festival organizers would like to thank Monika Kumosz, director of the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Osiecznica; Jan Kozak, head of the Housing and Municipal Services Department in Osiecznica; Jan Cołokidzi; as well as TV Łużyce, Muzyczne Radio and the IstotneInformacje.pl portal. The proceeds from the event will be used to subsidize the Youth Fire Brigade’s camp.
