The Nowogrodziec Municipal Office website has published another post concerning the Skutecznie i Razem club, or, more precisely, its still-serving councillor Krzysztof Durda. Officials recalled that in September last year, the then Lower Silesian Voivode Paweł Hreniak terminated the aforementioned local government official’s mandate by means of a substitute order and notified the Ministry of the Interior and Administration:
The reason was a violation of Article 24f of the Act on Municipal Self-Government (conducting business activity using business premises owned by Nowogrodziec Gmina).
The above actions were preceded by proceedings before the Lower Silesian Voivode.
The gmina officials add:
Mayor Robert Relich repeatedly warned the Municipal Council about irregularities concerning Councillor Krzysztof Durda’s exercise of his mandate, but the councillors from the Skutecznie i Razem Club, led by Michał Sudoł, ignored these warnings.
Councillor Krzysztof Durda filed a complaint with the Administrative Court concerning the order terminating his mandate, while the Voivodeship Administrative Court, in a judgment issued on 15 January 2020, dismissed Mr Durda’s complaint, which means that the termination of the mandate was lawful and that Mr Durda should not serve as a councillor on the Municipal Council in Nowogrodziec.
What do you think? We invite you to discuss this. We will return to the subject.
