The PERSPEKTYWY Educational Portal has announced its annual ranking of secondary schools: general-education high schools and technical schools. Schools were assessed in the nationwide ranking and in regional rankings. Only data from external assessment committees evaluating the results of school-leaving examinations, subject competitions and, in the case of technical schools, vocational examinations were taken into account.
In this prestigious ranking, which builds a school’s reputation and is often considered by students and parents when choosing an educational path, schools in Bolesławiec achieved considerable success. In the ranking of 79 Lower Silesian high schools, I LO im. Władysława Broniewskiego took 21st place. In the nationwide ranking, among 999 schools assessed, it placed 317th (in 2019 it was 403rd) and received a silver teaching-quality mark.
II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka took 58th place in the Lower Silesian ranking.
Technikum nr 5 przy Zespole Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych im. Jana Kochanowskiego took 17th place in the regional ranking (74 schools were assessed) and received a bronze quality mark.
The remaining places in the Lower Silesian ranking of technical schools were taken by:
- 23 – Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych
- 25 – Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych
- 54 – Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych
- 61 – Zespół Szkół Budowlanych.
