This year, the semifinal matches were abandoned, and the order of play in the knockout stage was determined by the teams’ positions in the groups.
The match for third place was contested by the teams that had finished second: the Bolesławiec firefighters and BTS Masters. After a close and evenly matched battle, the KP PSP Bolesławiec team prevailed.
The group-stage winners met on opposite sides of the net in the grand final. As befits a final, the contest was fiercely fought and featured spectacular plays and numerous twists. This year’s winners were Old Stars from Lubań, who defeated UR-pal Zryw Stary Łom.
After the final match, the commemorative awards and trophies were presented by the director of the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Bolesławcu zs. w Kruszynie – Janusz Cieśla.
Congratulations.
