By January 12, we had collected PLN 214,394.42 and EUR 800. This exceptional generosity of the people of Bolesławiec, along with the hard work of the headquarters and volunteers, is the foundation of this success. We are very happy because we know how the PiS government destroyed Jurek Owsiak and how it acted against the Orchestra. We know Tadeusz Rydzyk’s hateful statements about WOŚP, yet Polish women and men, including the people of Bolesławiec, continue to say YES to the Orchestra with all their hearts!
This year, the Foundation is raising funds to purchase the most modern equipment to save the lives and health of children requiring various types of surgery. Surgeons of all specialties are saving these children’s lives day and night throughout Poland. The Orchestra will focus primarily on such areas of pediatric medicine as general surgery, cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
