Several dozen people gathered in front of the District Court in Bolesławiec on Saturday afternoon. They were protesting against the law concerning the accountability of judges.
“We do not agree; freedom is the most important thing to us. We do not want to live in a country like Russia, a country like Belarus, a country like Turkey,” said Dariusz Sas. One of the protest’s co-organizers mentioned that the services had appealed for denunciations to be filed against the current Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Tomasz Grodzki. And no one, D. Sas continued, “even bothered to question the 70-year-old bachelor from Żoliborz” regarding the two towers.
He also stressed: “We are here also to protest: we do not want to leave the European Union. I do not want these two flags to be separate; I want them to be together. This is the future: ours and our children’s. Without it, there will be no freedom.”
