Drivers who travel on the roads of Bolesławiec have surely become accustomed to seeing so-called “driving school cars” from across the region (and even from the neighboring Lubusz Voivodeship), in which learners practice for their exams. Every day, many cars from various driving schools appear in our city. Some drivers complain that driving school cars crawl along the streets and add to the already considerable traffic jams.

One of our Readers sent us a photograph with the following comment:

This is how they teach in our city...

The photograph shows two driving school cars that, after turning left, were leaving the intersection near Zgorzelecka Street. One of the driving school cars was still in the intersection when the traffic light turned green for vehicles traveling straight from the direction of Wesoła Street. It is possible that the learner entered the intersection on a late yellow light. It may also have been that something stopped the cars turning into Zgorzelecka Street...

Are there really too many driving school cars in Bolesławiec? According to our observations, several dozen driving school cars from across the region travel on the roads of the city of ceramics every day. This number will soon decrease. A branch of the Provincial Road Traffic Centre in Legnica is to open in Lubań, where exams will also be available. This will make Bolesławiec somewhat less congested. Regardless, it is worth remembering that everyone was once learning and surely made more than one mistake.

We wish everyone more understanding and patience.
