The incident occurred on Friday, 22 November, on the A4 motorway (Czerna MOP). A fire broke out in the engine compartment of a BMW.

Alarm! Today at 12:32, we were dispatched to a car fire at Czerna MOP. The driver's quick reaction and use of a dry-powder extinguisher extinguished the fire before it spread, causing damage only in the engine compartment. Our actions consisted of checking the engine compartment with a thermal imaging camera and disconnecting the battery. At the scene:
