During the renovation, this section is to remain passable. Completely closing the bridge to traffic is being considered only in an exceptional situation and for the shortest possible time—if it is necessary at all—in the event that it is not possible to carry out the work in just one lane. The road surface (carriageway), sidewalks and supports, as well as the structural elements of the bridge spans, will be renovated. According to the plan, the work is to be completed by the end of August 2020.
