Let us recall. We recently reported that on 30 October, a ceremonial farewell was held in the Councillors’ Hall for Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska, the outgoing director of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre, who had managed the institution for ten years.
“I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the years of cooperation, for the time spent organising, managing and shaping cultural activities in our city, and for your creativity and organisational skills—extremely important when directing an institution so vital to our city,” Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman said, also highlighting, among other things, outgoing director Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska’s commitment to amateur artistic activities, the creation of a rich cultural programme for children, young people and adults, the skilful organisation of activities for seniors, and her significant contribution to building the reputation of Bolesławiec ceramics.
