Derby matches in the county always attract interest and stir emotions. It was the same this time. On Saturday (November 2), GKS Warta Bolesławiecka hosted BKS Bolesławiec in Warta Bolesławiecka. The match attracted considerable interest from football fans, especially as the home team includes players who once played at Spółdzielcza. The covered seating was almost completely occupied.

Football fans waited 15 minutes for the first goal. After that, BKS’s centre-backs made a mistake, which Sławomir Pełdiak (who still played for the team from Spółdzielcza last season) took advantage of, putting the hosts ahead with a confident shot. In the 26th minute, Warta were already 2–0 up. The goal came after a counterattack and a combination between Krzysztof Kaliciak and Sławomir Pełdiak. The latter once again finished the move effectively.

BKS responded with a goal in the 43rd minute. Krzysztof Dmuchowski got on the scoresheet, heading the ball into the net. Earlier, the hosts had protested because the referee awarded BKS a corner instead of a throw-in. The official remained unmoved. At half-time, the hosts led 2–1.

A few minutes after the break, BKS equalised. Adrian Puzio scored with a well-taken shot, and the match started anew. The game remained tense right until the end. About 10 minutes before the referee’s final whistle, Kacper Wojciechowski secured victory for the hosts. After an individual move and dribbling past three BKS players, he set the final score at 3–2 to Warta.
