The water level in the Bóbr River is elevated. The river looked most dangerous two days ago. A Reader sent photos of the Bóbr near Rajska Street to the editorial office Kemal. “On Saturday, the water level in the Bóbr was high, but the river did not overflow its banks. The situation has been improving since Saturday,” Grzegorz Dziadek from the Crisis Management Department of the Bolesławiec County Office told IstotneInformacje.pl. “The situation in the county is stable. The rivers are flowing within their channels. The elevated river levels were caused by the draining of the Pilchowice and Czocha reservoirs,” he added.
A flood emergency has been in effect in the Nowogrodziec municipality since Thursday. The Kwisa exceeded warning levels there. Fortunately, the river’s water level is slowly falling. No flooding was reported in river areas of Bolesławiec County. Bolesławiec firefighters were called out only once, to a flooded basement in Iwiny. The flooding resulted from heavy rainfall.
Bolesławiec firefighters spent two days taking part in a rescue operation in Kłodzko, where the flood situation was much more dangerous.

Krzysztof Wojda: Recently, I have spent a lot of time observing the Bóbr River... The water was rising quite quickly, but fortunately it is already falling. In several places where paths normally run, there was no passage.
