The incident occurred on October 28, before 8:00 a.m., on national road no. 94, near Wilczków (Środa County).
Officers who arrived at the scene initially determined that the driver of a Seat—for undetermined reasons—left his lane on a straight section of road, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming Honda.
The Seat driver died at the scene. The Honda driver, a resident of Lubin County, and two passengers in the vehicle were transported to hospitals in Legnica and Wrocław.
Police:
Under the supervision of a prosecutor and with the participation of an expert in traffic accident reconstruction, officers carried out a series of procedural activities at the scene. Officers are currently investigating all the circumstances and the course of this tragic accident.
