The joint planting of tulips took place as part of the “Tulips of Power” campaign, supporting education and assistance for children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
One of the campaign’s goals is to support children with DMD and show them that they are not alone in their illness; that there are countless big-hearted people who stand with them, believe in them and want to help them fight the disease.
An important aspect of the campaign is the potential fundraising for the therapy and rehabilitation of children with DMD who are patients of the UMB Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic and the Pro Salute Association, coming from all over Poland and abroad, as well as other children with DMD.
Therefore, the jointly planted tulips will be sold in spring. The proceeds from their sale will be donated to the therapy and rehabilitation of children with DMD.
