On October 15, scholarships and prizes from the mayor were presented to students from Nowogrodziec gmina for the twelfth time. For the first time, the ceremony was held at the “Muza” Culture and Arts Center in Nowogrodziec, where Robert Relich, Mayor of Nowogrodziec, warmly welcomed all participants of the event.
As is customary, on this day the mayor’s awards were also presented on the occasion of National Education Day.
Gmina officials:
The Scholarships and Awards of the Mayor of Nowogrodziec are individual distinctions for children and young people whose knowledge and interests go beyond the generally accepted framework of education. They motivate recipients to take on new challenges and improve their skills, enliven positive competition, and support the development of talents.
Awarded for the twelfth time, these distinctions demonstrate the considerable potential of our young people. The honored students included humanities enthusiasts, natural scientists, winners of subject competitions and olympiads, experts in literature and art, as well as artists.
Once again, students who achieved success in competitions and tournaments requiring knowledge of road safety were honored. Through their hard work, perseverance, teachers’ assistance, and parents’ support, these students showed how relevant the motto “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs” remains.
Awards from the mayor were presented to educators who stood out during the 2018/2019 school year through interesting and unconventional teaching methods, inspiring ideas, and tremendous commitment to working with students. The following were honored:
