If the preliminary results announced by the National Electoral Commission are taken into account, the chances of electing an MP from the City of Ceramics, or even from Bolesławiec County, are slim. The best chances were held by Szymon Pogoda, a Law and Justice councillor and number ten on the party’s list. However, according to data from 286 of 708 constituency electoral commissions (40.4%), the Bolesławiec resident received 1,086 votes (0.77%). That is probably too few to secure a seat.

Another Bolesławiec resident running on behalf of Law and Justice, Dawid Sarbak, received 117 votes (0.08%). Preliminary results for the leaders of the Law and Justice list:

  1. Adam Lipiński: 13,155, 9.31%
  2. Elżbieta Witek: 18,504, 13.10%
  3. Marzena Machałek: 5,940, 4.20%.

The People’s Party’s number one, Stanisław Żuk, won 2,699 votes (1.91%). A very good result was recorded by Małgorzata Sekuła-Szmajdzińska, leader of the Left’s list (11,792 votes, 8.35%). Interestingly, the MP and widow of Minister Jerzy Szmajdziński—according to the preliminary data—performed better in these elections than... the number one on the Civic Coalition list, Piotr Borys (10,180, 7.21%).

Urszula Magryś from Bolesławiec (Civic Coalition) received 128 votes (0.09%).

The incumbent Bolesławiec county head, Tomasz Gabrysiak (Non-Party Local Government Officials), currently has 172 votes (0.12%), which nevertheless remains irrelevant, as this committee did not exceed the 5% electoral threshold nationwide.
