BKS Bolesławiec were the better side on Wednesday afternoon and deservedly won, but thanks to the hosts’ determination and our players’ inaccuracy, the outcome remained uncertain until the final minute. Marcin Szaja came close to scoring as early as the fifth minute, but the ball struck by the BKS captain went just wide of the Fatma Pobiedna goal. Our team kept creating chances, but lacked an effective finish. Adrian Kulesza had excellent opportunities, but once again we were left empty-handed.

In the 27th minute, Adrian Puzio decided to shoot from outside the penalty area, but the alert home goalkeeper tipped the ball out for a corner. Three minutes later, Adrian Kulesza combined brilliantly with Adrian Puzio, and the latter put the ball into the net from close range to give BKS Bolesławiec a 1–0 lead. In the 32nd minute, Fatma Pobiedna scored an equalizer, but the referee blew for a foul on our defender, so the score remained 1–0. In the 36th minute, we could have effectively settled the outcome, but Adrian Puzio failed to convert a penalty awarded for a foul on Łukasz Graczyk. The halftime score was therefore 1–0.

When Krzysztof Dmuchowski was shown a red card just after the restart, it became clear that the hosts would throw themselves at our team in search of an equalizer. That is exactly what happened. Fortunately, our defense’s composed play prevented the hosts from scoring. In the 61st minute, Łukasz Graczyk came close to extending the lead, but the midfielder’s free kick struck the crossbar of the Fatma Pobiedna goal. Despite a great deal of battling on the pitch, the score did not change again before the final whistle, and we ultimately secured a narrow 1–0 victory.
