As we read on the municipal office’s website:
It is with deep sorrow that we announce that on September 26, 2019, at the age of 84, Paweł Śliwko passed away. A councillor of the Bolesławiec City Council during its second and sixth terms, a member of the City Board during the 1994–1998 term, longtime head of Primary Schools No. 4 and No. 8, a dedicated educator and committed local government official who used his experience working for the local community.
Municipal officials add:
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the city’s development, he was awarded the title “Distinguished Citizen of Bolesławiec.”

The funeral ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 28 at the chapel in the municipal cemetery in Bolesławiec. It will begin at 11:00.
