The building at 12 Żwirki i Wigury Street, known as Samotniak, has been renovated and is ready for occupancy. On Friday (September 20), the building was officially handed over for use.

The renovated building contains 29 rental apartments: 11 one-room apartments, 11 two-room apartments and 7 three-room apartments, with areas ranging from 29 m² to 63 m². These are municipal apartments that applicants could apply for after meeting specific criteria. An elevator has been installed in the building. It will also include apartments for people with disabilities. There is also a stroller and wheelchair storage room and a drying room.

The owner and administrator of the building at 12 Żwirki i Wigury Street is Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego w Bolesławcu Sp. z o.o. The apartments were allocated according to the rules and criteria applicable at TBS. Applicants for a tenancy had to submit an appropriate application along with the required documents. Applications to rent the apartments were reviewed by the Housing Affairs Team.

The investment value, including the purchase of the property, amounted to PLN 6,078,629, including PLN 4,000,000 in capitalization by the Municipality of Bolesławiec, PLN 1,288,000 in a bank loan from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego granted as part of BGK’s implementation of the government program supporting residential construction, and PLN 790,629 in the company’s own funds, reports Emil Zając, president of TBS.

The construction cost was PLN 4,515.60 per m². The rent is PLN 9.50 per m². The building is equipped with parking spaces for tenants in a dedicated parking lot.
