The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 4, in a high-rise building on Bielska Street. A tenant was causing a disturbance in one of the apartments. In addition, smoke could be detected in the building. Police, the fire service and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
When the emergency services arrived, it turned out that the man refused to open the door.
After the door was opened, the man was taken to the Provincial Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec for examination.
Neighbors say this was not the first time the emergency services had intervened at the tenant’s apartment.
